American Dream Mall

The American Dream mall is a large shopping mall and entertainment center in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Josh is very fond of this mall and visits it frequently.

Jack Doherty Stream

The first notable time Josh visited the American Dream mall was with influencer Jack Doherty. During the stream, they visited several outlet stores, were mobbed by fans, and went ice skating. At the mall, Mr. Based and Jack Doherty had a falling out, and went their separate ways. Throughout the stream Josh was followed by mall security, who were visibly irritated by the commotion and mobs of fans.

Arrest and Hospitalization

On February 21st, 2025, Josh posted a Tiktok featuring an oversized alcoholic beverage at the American Dream mall. Hours later, a post on Reddit surfaced from an unknown source featuring audio of Josh in the hospital. In the video, Josh sounded heavily intoxicated and yelled at staff to remove his handcuffs. During the incident, Mr. Based and Art Garfunkel Jr. attempted to visit Josh, but where chased off by hospital security. Josh was released from the hospital later that night. He promptly returned to the mall to "get that Mr. Beast Burger", before returning to NYC. Following his return, Josh appeared on stream heavily sedated and complaining of stomach pain. He admitted to being administered Ativan (Lorazepam, low potency benzodiazepine compared to Xanax/Alprazolam) in the hospital.

On March 12, 2025, Josh posted a Tiktok at the American Dream mall with Claire.
