Josh has gained significant attention online for his rampant alcoholism, which has come to be his defining trait as a lolcow. His addiction has led to numerous health issues, including daily headaches, vomiting, slurring of words, neuropathy, pancreatitis, and other illnesses. Despite claiming to have only a "mild problem" with alcohol, Josh drinks daily, often to the point of vomiting, passing out, or being arrested. His intoxication frequently results in assaults, destruction of public and private property, and shouting racial and discriminatory slurs.

Origin of Alcoholism

Before turning 21, Josh visited Cancun and tried his first fateful sip of alcohol, becoming completely intoxicated on the same night. After returning to America, Josh waited until his 21st birthday to drink again, and since then, he has descended into a continuous cycle of heavy drinking. His alcoholism became particularly pronounced during the Michael Quinn Era, starting in late 2022 and early 2023, when his behavior took a darker turn under the influence of his manager, Michael Quinn.

The Shakes

By mid-2023, Josh was already exhibiting shakes (tremors) in the morning due to alcohol withdrawal. These shakes were more noticeable as the year progressed. Josh is strangely obsessed with asking random people if they also have the shakes.

Denial

Josh will deny outright being an alcoholic in various forms, including:

• Claims he's not an alcoholic, just a "problem drinker"

He will also occasionally admit to being an alcoholic and/or brag about his shakes.

Taste of Alcohol

Despite heavily drinking, Josh clearly does not enjoy the taste of light beers and even heavily mixed, sugary drinks. Josh struggles to drinks shooters and hard liquor.

Josh's alcoholism has led to a series of well-documented incidents, many of which occurred during his travels or public appearances:

Pissing On A Store Window (May 3, 2024)

Recorded slurring his words, Josh urinated on a store window, with urine flowing across the sidewalk, demonstrating his lack of inhibition while intoxicated.

N-Word Sitting In The Street (June 8, 2024)

While drunk and sitting in the middle of a street, Josh insulted a woman who offered help by using a racial slur, prompting audible disgust from onlookers.

Punched Woman In Head (July 20, 2024)

Severely intoxicated, Josh fell down stairs, punched a woman named Gianna Borgia in the head, and was arrested after further erratic behavior, including attacking Mr. Based.

Train Piss (August 28, 2024)

After returning from a San Francisco trip, Josh was recorded urinating into a beverage carton on a public train, an act of indecent exposure fueled by alcohol.

Kicking People, Damaging Cars (September 17, 2024)

While intoxicated, Josh kicked multiple people, fought with a parked car, and stomped on it, screaming threats, leading Mr. Based to temporarily halt their collaboration.

Cruise Shoe Vomit (October 28, 2024)

Within 24 hours of boarding a Barbados cruise, Josh vomited on someone's shoes, an incident he later confirmed on a stream, reflecting his inability to control his drinking even on vacation.
