Parti

Parti is a small livestreaming platform in which Joshua Block has a streaming deal and contract with. Mr. Based was formerly part of this deal, being terminated from the platform on April 15, 2025.

Background

Jack Doherty was responsible for setting up Josh (and by extension, Based) with the Parti deal in January 2025.

Deal

The precise terms of the deal were initially unclear, but the new arrangement substantially altered Josh's compensation structure. During a January 28 livestream, Based expressed dissatisfaction with the deal, citing a decline in TTS donations, while Josh appeared enthusiastic about finally receiving consistent payment. Prior to this agreement, Based would earn thousands of dollars per stream from TTS donations but only shared a small portion with Josh.

In the interview with Matan Even, Josh disclosed details of his Parti deal. According to his statements, the deal involved Parti paying him roughly $2,000 per week in exchange for 10 hours of streaming. Josh further claimed the annual value of this arrangement amounted to approximately $270,000.

The new income stream reportedly led Josh to immediately plan several vacations. These absences created scheduling conflicts that prevented Based from streaming with him, further lowering his viewership, which reportedly exacerbated tensions between the two.

Streams

Based maintained the same streaming content on Parti as he had on Kick and YouTube, with no significant changes in format or style. Similarly, Josh's streams remained unchanged, continuing to draw criticism from viewers for persistent issues such as poor camera angles and minimal engagement with the audience. Based was also accused of viewbotting both streams, just like on other platforms; in one instance, the stream restarted, and viewers dropped from five-figures to a whopping twenty viewers.

End of Deal

On April 15, 2025, Based claimed in a video that someone had threatened Brian, the owner of Parti, leading to the termination of both his and Josh's contracts with the platform. However, this turned out to be only partly true, as while Based's account was suspended the next day, Josh's remained active and he even streamed on Parti that same day.
