The Coffee and Boba Era was a period in Josh's life before he began his journey into alcoholism and subsequently met Michael Quinn, where Josh posted himself drinking and reviewing beverages, doing harmless internet trends, and being generally wholesome. During this era, Josh would also go viral for his "In New York" videos.
At this time, Josh was claiming to be getting caffeine withdrawals, hinting at the later descent into addiction.
Coffee and Boba (song)
Josh released "Coffee and Boba" at the end of 2020, a song where he expresses his self-proclaimed addiction to coffee and boba tea.

The Coffee and Boba era's end would finally come when Josh turned 21 in August 2022, and began drinking alcohol instead of coffee or boba.
